New Building Regulation application charges from 1st October 2023

Summary

This is a notice advertising an amendment to the existing scheme of charges. The amendment gives details of hourly rates of charging for Building Inspectors/Building Control surveyors providing services to multi-disciplinary teams run by the Building Safety Regulator for Building Regulation applications involving in scope higher risk buildings in Fareham Borough Council and Gosport Borough Council and Portsmouth City Council and in other Council areas as agreed.

Under The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010, Fareham Borough Council and Gosport Borough Council and Portsmouth City Council have made an amendment to the Scheme of Charges to come into force on the 1st of October 2023. The scheme is available for viewing after 1st October 2023 at the Building Control administration centre, Depot Offices, Broadcut, Fareham, Hants PO16 8SP during normal working hours.
